Birdy Bar

Birdy Bar is a neighbourhood cocktail bar, reimagined from its former life as Birdhouse Bar & Kitchen. The venue underwent a full transformation with a new name, a new fit-out, and a bold new visual identity. The aim was to reintroduce the space with a personality that felt fun, cheeky and a little bit sexy.

The identity centres around a stamp-style wordmark paired with hand-painted lettering and character-led illustration, creating a system that feels organic, expressive and full of personality. The illustration style draws from retro pin-up inspired aesthetics, forming a distinctive visual language used across merchandise, posters and ongoing event promotion. Developed alongside the interior design concept, the branding feels embedded in the space rather than applied on top. The result is a confident, charismatic brand that comes to life after dark.

I acknowledge and pay respect to the Wurundjeri people, the Traditional Custodians of the land I live and work on. Always was, always will be.
